This past Friday, the recently formed Scholars Social and Service Youth group donated several needed items to the men’s shelter. The youth group chooses an organization to contribute to every month. In October, they chose to collect donations for Corvallis Housing First. The youth group stopped by the shelter last Friday to drop off the donations. Thank you to everyone who attended the Open House last Sunday at the Men’s Cold Weather Shelter. Over 100 people took the opportunity to explore the shelter and the offered services by Corvallis Housing First. In the 2015-2016 winter season, over 250 homeless men were provided a warm place to sleep at the shelter during the coldest weather in Oregon.
